I'm Home

After being gone for five days, I was welcomed home by warm smiles from the boys.

Tribute to the King

A miraculous thing happened today. Brendan entered his room, and when he came out it was half-way clean! Amidst all of the miscellaneous junk in his room, he was able to locate all of the items in his Elvis collection. He has been a fan of Elvis since the 2nd grade, and really enjoyed his trip to Graceland during Christmas.

Play Ball

I love the spring and being outdoors. It gives the boys a chance to practice their swing!

ZOO

It looks like it is going to be a gorgeous weekend in these parts... plenty of sunshine to go around. Hopefully I will be able to bring the boys back to the Zoo this weekend. They had such a great time feeding the horse in the kiddie zoo the last time we went.

We Have a Winner!!

I was very surprised when I looked on the internet this evening and found a picture that I took of my niece and her dog Charlie on the Post-It Picture paper site. It was chosen as one of the $1000 grand prize winners with a chance to be used on their packaging. Take a look at the following site and see for yourself. :-)

Happy Mother's Day

It was an absolutely beautiful day today. I took time to relax and forget about housework that needed to be done. After dinner at Grandma Elsie's, the boys looked all over for the perfect gift for me and this is what they came up with.





Spencer studied it really close before deciding to give it to me.



Carter kept looking, but wasn't able to find any keepers.



Back at home, the boys enjoyed some more time with their bubble machine. Carter was fed up with missing the bubbles, so he went after them with his shoe!

New Lens

I had a chance last evening to attach my new lens to my camera body. I didn't have a whole lot of time to mess with it, but I did get this shot of Mason. This lens is very sharp and I cannot wait to get out and try some more shots with it.

Final Concert

Tonight was Paige and Brendan's final concert of the year. They both improved a lot over the past 9 months.

Bubble Blast!

It was such a beautiful day today. We took ever opportunity we could to be outside. On my run through Wal-Mart, I picked up a bubble blower for th boys. It is great... no wands to fight over... constant bubble action. Rob though it was a dumb toy, but take a look at the pictures below and see for yourself how much fun it was.
