Where does time go?

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by. Tomorrow is the first day of September!! I welcome the signs of fall, but wonder where my summer went. The boys are growing so fast. It seems as though Carter has gone from a toddler to a little boy overnight. The boys' language and vocabulary is increasing at a rapid pace. Why even next week, the twins get to start Sunday School. I'm thankful for this three day weekend and the extra time I get to spend with them.

What is it about boys and their venturesome nature? They continually amaze me with their ability to discover new things all on their own.

We went to Tylor's scrimmage last night, and the boys had a blast running around outside the field. They are definitely looking forward to next week's game.

It's Friday!!

Wow, it is finally the end of the first week of school! I have to be quite honest... I am feeling a bit exhausted. My mind isn't used to working this hard during the week.

I am looking forward to the weekend and spending time with the boys. My nights seem to be just as busy as my days, so they are feeling a bit neglected. They seem to be transitioning fairly well though. I think that is solely due to the fact that they are incredibly happy that when mom goes to work, aunt Shelly gets to come over and take care of them. They love having aunt Shelly around. She really spoils the boys, and I think that is great! Yesterday they learned how to play hopscotch! :-)

Until then, I will just look at this face and remember that I will be able to spend time with them soon.

I had a great time today working on school pictures. It is hard to believe that school is only a week away!!

Call the Zoo...

.... the monkeys are loose!! Every now and then the boys like to sneak outside in their pjs. I caught them this time! :-)

I discovered if one keeps clicking long enough, they will end up with pictures like this!

We missed you!

Our cousin Jeremiah stopped by for a visit yesterday. He moved away last fall, so it was really good to see him again!

Feeding the Animals

Our intentions were to go to the park to feed the ducks, but since the ducks were scared we had to offer our goods to the goats.





The goats were very happy to see us arrive! The boys also tried coaxing the very timid deer.
